The Surf and Sounds Chamber Music Series features outranking musicians from around the country performing from one end of Dare County to the other. This series has received rave reviews over the years both for the choice of material and the performances. You can find several past performances on our Facebook page.

This year’s concerts will feature a different  lineup from previous years. Last year we added flutist Debbie Crioss. She will return for the first two concerts as the group will perform pieces for piamo. flute and strings. Oboist Jaren Atherholt will perform works for oboe and cello in the last two concerts this year.

After many years with the Series violinists Katie Hyun and Liz Vonderheide will take a year off. Siwoo Kim will perform on violin for all 4 concerts. Siwoo is an outstanding performer and has developed a similar concert series in Cleveland. You can meet Siwoo and hear him perform on his web page.
